Frank C Boyd

Frank C Boyd aka "Luther" (only a few close "Roadrunners" know about this) I will know who squealed if I hear it again (o:

I was "pushed" into this world "parade" in Neches, Texas (Anderson County) in an "Old Log" cabin across the "Sunny Brook" near where "Jack Daniel's" and the "Johnny Walkers" had their homes. As I became older (and could remember) I used to see Mr. "Old Crow" get on his "White Horse" and ride over to the "Four Roses" and see Miss "Virginia Dare". On the way he had to pass "Thunderbird" alley and "Limon Juice" lane and for some reason or another "Old Crow" lost his way..

My Father let some guy "conned" him to move to LONE OAK, Texas to work on the "halfer" (known as sharecropping) and that was where I was introduced to the white "stuff" (Cotton!Cotton!) Ha, Haaa!!! Gotcha!!!.

We moved "wayaa" down in the country where the sun came up between the front porch and the mail box..I remember good now (I was older)  Oh!, I forgot to tell you I was the "middle" born of ten (10). I (we) had to walk six (6) miles to town, school and church. This is the why I dance so well. I learned my step avoiding the hot sand. (no shoes)

To "fast" forward my parade in this world, I graduated from Saint Paul High School at Nylandville (sp)?.

Went to Dallas, tried to be "cool" and "fit" in and came within a "witches" broom straw of "messing" up my life..  Join The United Stated Army and did a lot of good things for the country.

Introduced to Motorcycling while in Vietnam in 1969. I "borrowed" a Honda 125 that was on the side of the road and I rode it (only on the military compound) until I came back to the U.S. of A. I gave it to some "Papa San" when I left Vietnam.

My first "bought" motorcycle was a 1968 "Indian" in Germany. (This was in 71) and of course my spouse (at that time) did not approve. The next "bike" was a 1979 Honda Silver Wings 500. From there I moved up to the 91 GW Interstate. Now I am on my 98 GW SE

I first became a member of the Sierra Eagles chapter in Reno, Nevada where there are a group of individuals like my present "Roadrunners" who were/are the best folks around.

I will continue supporting the members and the chapter in the best way that I can.
